What's Happening for Children at Trinity? LOTS!

Children are very special people and Trinity UMC takes great care

to provide programs, events, and special occasions for all of God's children.

Children's Church

T.N.T!! (Trinity in Training)

Wednesday evenings  •  6:15 - 7:15 p.m.

children from 2 years old through sixth grade

Nursery & Child Care

We have three nurseries: the baby, walker, and 2 & 3 year-old nurseries. We always have at least two adults in each room. Nurseries are always provided for regular worship services, as well as many other activities. Any time a special nursery is needed for a planned church activity, the leader of the activity should contact Nursery Coordinator, Susan Johnston, make arrangements. For more info on the Trinity nursery program, click here.

Children's Council

. . . a group of concerned parents, teachers, and leaders who meet on a quarterly basis to discuss children's issues. Our Children's Coordinator, Kristen Vardy, leads this meeting. This is an open meeting where we make decisions about curriculum, facilities, and activities.

What about Safety?

We have a Child-Adult Protection Policy (CAPP) that screens anyone who works with children at Trinity, volunteers and staff. Our policy includes training, safety procedures, and reporting and intervention procedures for any incident. (Someone must attend TUMC for at least 6 months to be accepted as a volunteer.) This policy is available for you to review on request via the Director of Children's Activities.
