January

                  06 – Turkey Hunt Sign-Up.  The cost of Turkey Hunt is $30.  The full amount is due on this date.

                  09 – YAKS (Youth and Kids Social), 6 – 9 PM in the main building.

                  10 – Ski Trip Deposit Due ($50).

                  13 – Youth Council Meeting, 7:30 PM, MKB. 

                  15 – 17, Turkey Hunt.

                  20 – Parent Meeting, 7:30, MKB.

                  22 – Mission IS Possible, 11 AM – 4 PM.

                  31 – Deadline for SKI TRIP $ balance due.

February

                  5 – 7, Youth SKI TRIP.  No Sunday afternoon Youth activities due to SKI TRIP.

                  17 – Ash Wednesday Service, 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary.

                  21 – Mission IS Possible, 11 AM – 4 PM.

March

                  06 – YAKS, 6 – 9 PM, Main Building.

07 – CHOIR TOUR COMMITMENT SUNDAY.  Youth who plan to go on choir tour MUST be at choir practice from now until tour.  If you are unable to attend choir practice you need to call Lee (706-346-3332) and let him know you cannot there.  Choir tour deposit ($50) due on this day. 

CONFIRMATION SUNDAY, 6 PM.

14 – Mission IS Possible, 11 AM – 4 PM.

31 – Sonrise Service Rehearsal, 6:30 – 8:30.

April

                  04 – Sonrise Service, 7 AM, MKB.  After the service there will be a breakfast in Mobley Hall.

                  No Sunday afternoon youth activities.

                  07 – Youth Council Meeting, 7:30 PM, MKB.

                  14 – Parent Meeting, 7:30 PM, MKB.

                  18 – Mission IS Possible, 11 AM – 4 PM.

May

                  02 – Senior Luncheon, 12:30 PM, Mobley Hall.

                  Children’s Musical, 6 PM, MKB.

                  14 – Welcome Home Performance at Rome Little Theatre, 7:00 PM.

                  20 – Lee’s Birthday.  No Sunday afternoon youth activities, Father’s Day.

                  21 – 25, Vacation Bible School.

July

                  07 – Sign-Up for Wakulla, total amount due.  The cost for Wakulla TBA.

                  15 – 18, ROAD TRIP to Wakulla.

August

                  01 – Promotion Sunday Pool Party, 1:00 – 3:30 PM, North Rome Pool.

We have normal youth activities on Wednesday evenings (6:15 – 7:30) and on Sunday afternoons

(4 – 6 or 6:30) unless noted on the calendar.  Please remember that all dates and times are subject to change.  The best source of last minute information/changes is the YUTE-line (706-236-9883).  I will keep you informed of details of major youth events by email.  Please be sure to check your email often as we get closer to major events.  If you know a youth /parents who are not receiving youth email please let me know.
